Founded in 2006, Dainty Productions is an independent animation and digital studio led by creative entrepreneurs Chris and Jennifer Dainty.

With a foundation in hand-drawn animation and a focus on digital 2D production, we create content that’s playful, thoughtful, and built to engage. Our work spans educational and children’s media, broadcast animation, interactive games, apps, and custom digital experiences.

We continue to develop a slate of original IPs alongside commissioned projects, with a strong interest in stories that connect with young audiences and support learning through storytelling, humour, and creativity.

We’re also the creators of icemation—a unique animation technique using carved ice and stop-motion to create one-of-a-kind visuals. Beyond animation, we’ve provided large-scale ice and styrofoam sculptures for live-action films, branded content, and special events.

Whether we’re animating a heartfelt children’s story, carving a sculpture out of ice, or building an interactive experience from scratch, we bring the same curiosity and care to every project we take on.
